“I want to tell stories that further our understanding of each other and inspire love and compassion for one another. Because truly, I believe we’re really all the same at the end of the day.” - Sherren

Sherren is a member of the Director's Guild of Canada, is a 2014 Alumna of the CFC Directors Lab and was named as one of Hollywood Reporter’s Fifteen Canada’s Rising Stars of 2018.

Sherren grew up playing the violin, singing karaoke and making up dance numbers with her sisters, wanting to be an actor/performer for as long as she can remember. A natural-born leader, Sherren often took charge in all aspects of her life: as a volleyball captain, a student council president and a founder of a musicians and performing artists network at McGill. It made so much sense when she finally encountered directing and never turned back. From backpacking for in South East Asia, Australia, Hong Kong to Moscow and England for a year to sailing from Guatemala to Mexico, she’s a true explorer at heart. There’s nothing she won’t eat and nowhere she won’t go, always eager to discover more of the world and more parts of herself. She recently got her motorcycle license — gaining new skills as an adult is so thrilling. Living life thoughtfully with joy, reflection and kindness is of utmost importance to her.
